this is a real foundation for healing.
because you can't breathe your way out of sleep deprivation. you can't meditate through chronic dehydration. you can't regulate a nervous system whose most basic needs aren't being met!
this workbook goes where most healing content doesn't — into the unglamorous, biological foundations that make everything else actually work.
science-backed
interactive
polyvagal-based
lifestyle-focused
trauma-informed
let me be honest with you...
i'm currently completing my master's in clinical social work, interning in a therapy practice, and seeing clients for individual and group work every week. i am inside this material every single day.
and i keep seeing the same thing: people doing all the work (the therapy, the breathwork, the journaling) and still feeling like sh*t. and the missing piece was almost always the foundation.
diving into trauma without sleep, without nourishment, without connection, without the basic physiological conditions for safety — it doesn't just not work. it can be retraumatizing. the nervous system needs somewhere to land before we ask it to revisit the hardest things.
this workbook is what i wish i could hand every single client before we begin. the container before the container. the actual foundation that we can then build on.
so what's inside the interactive workbook?
how to use this workbook + a note from me

this is for you if...
you're in therapy, doing the practices, and something still feel stuck
(your nervous system might simply not have the biological foundation it needs yet. this is where we start)
you're exhausted by wellness content that doesn't go deep enough
(you know sleep matters. you know you should drink more water. what you want is to understand why and how to actually build it into your life)
you're in a healing journey and want to support the work you're doing
(whether you're in therapy, doing somatic work, or practicing on your own — this workbook builds the lifestyle foundation that makes all of it actually land)
you're a practitioner looking for something to share with clients
(grounded in polyvagal theory and trauma-informed principles throughout)
you want to actually do something, not just read something
(reflection prompts, rating scales, self-audits, tracking tools, and action steps are woven through every chapter. this is a workbook in the most literal sense)

i made this because i kept needing it.
i'm a graduate student in clinical social work with an intensive focus on trauma, a somatic practitioner, and someone who has done a lot of her own healing. i am in this material every single day (in my internship, in my practice, in my own life).
and what i keep seeing is the same gap: people doing (or wanting to do) real, courageous healing work without the foundation that makes it stick or even safe to do in the first place.
this workbook is what i hope fills that gap. grounded, honest, science-backed, and written with the understanding that you are not a problem to be solved.
